John’s clients include: The Getty Conservation Institute, Pepperdine University, Exxon Mobil, and the J. Paul Getty Museum. Editorial coverage of his work has appeared in Los Angeles Times, Rangefinder magazine, B&W magazine, Confetti Magazine and Foto Zoom, Mexico.

To satisfy the creative demands of his assignments, John chooses from a variety of camera formats that will serve his and his clients’ vision for a fresh point of view. He uses state-of-the-art equipment in tandem with vintage camera gear.

John’s assignments have taken him to Africa to document field projects for the Getty Conservation Institute. In Mexico he has photographed the Pilgrimage practices of devout Catholics at the Sanctuary of Atotonilco in Guanajuato, and the rituals and tradition of the Day of the Dead in Michoacan and Oaxaca.

John is intuitive and highly skilled in editorial and social documentary photography. He is available for last-minute assignments and is competitively priced with other photographers of equal distinction.
